Attorney Chris Cox

Attorney Christopher Cox is a native of St. Louis and has lived here his entire life. He attended DeSmet Jesuit High School, and graduated from St. Louis University with a B.A. in Psychology. Mr. Cox went on to receive his J.D. in 1988 from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.

After completing law school, Mr. Cox practiced both civil and criminal law for the next 8 years with a small firm in Clayton where he gained immense legal experience. In 1996, he formed his own general practice law firm in Clayton, Missouri, and then moved that office to the Chesterfield, Missouri, area in 2012. He found his niche in the Estate Planning and Trust & Probate Administration areas, and his current practice is exclusively focused on those areas.

Mr. Cox is a highly-experienced attorney who has been practicing law for over 35 years. He has helped countless numbers of individuals and families with their Estate Planning, Trust and Probate matters.

Mr. Cox is admitted to all Missouri State courts. He regularly volunteers by providing pro bono legal work to various organizations throughout Missouri, and he also actively works for the humane treatment and legal protection of animals.

Mr. Cox is married, has a son in college, and lives in Chesterfield, just minutes from his law office. He’s very involved in family life, and when his son was younger, he coached grade school baseball and basketball, was a Cub Scout den leader and an Assistant Scoutmaster at his son’s Boy Scout Troop.
